Valley View Baptist Church Participation

During October and November the church contributes to this program in four different ways.
1. Families receive boxes to be packed for delivery to the local distribution center.
2. Church members sign up to volunteer at the local center
to process boxes for shipment.
3. Women pack many shoe boxes at the church.
4. Leadership at the center is provided  by one  of our members, Wyman Johnson.

December 2018 - Wyman's Report
The Minneapolis OCC Processing Center processed over 533,200 shoeboxes this season and they are going to 14 countries. In the past 22 year the Minneapolis center has processed over 13.1 million shoeboxes! "Thank You" to all who packed shoeboxes this year and special thanks to those from ValleyView who were able to help process boxes at the center.
The distribution center has been moved to Chicago;however, VVBC continues to supply shoe boxes to Samaritan's Purse. (2019-2022)

VVBC participated in the 2023 Shoe Box collection on Nov 19.
